CAD/CAM in Schools: Competence Standards

All teachers are required to meet the competence standards as set by the CAD/CAM in Schools steering group, consisting of representatives from the Department for Education, Speed Step, Warwick Manufacturing Group, Technology Enhancement Programme, Confederation of British Industry, Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, BAE Systems, PTC, Delcam, Speed Step and the D&T Association.

You may review the competence standards for Pro/DESKTOP, ArtCAM Speed Step and Pro/ENGINEER using the menu to the left. Teachers are asked to complete the online case study template (or a post-course task for Pro/ENGINEER) after finishing the training, and approval of this case study or task by the trainer indicates the teacher has met these standards.
