A coffee table
The table that i have made was for my A2 project. I first designed the idea on Pro Engineer from my original sketch to give an idea of what the design would look like before i made it. This would also enable me to pick up on any improvements that i would have to make before entering the workshop. By doing this i saved myself time and i would also have an idea of the dimensions. I used the rendering tools to get the best colour scheme for my design, it also gave me a good idea of what my final product would look like once it had been finished. I relied on the drawings in hyperspace to accuratly complete my design and from this i have created a high quality piece of work. Pro engineer also helped me transfer my design into 2D design therefore i could cut the table top straight out from the pro engineer programme without having to draw it again. This also saved me alot of time and i was sure that the drawing was accurate. |
